There are many great wild camping places on Harris and Lewis. The best pitches tend to be found on the west coast close to small sandy bays. Please treat all with respect and if parking close to homes ask for permission which is generally given. Some areas will not be suitable for dogs given livestock use common grazing. 60 touring and 30 tent pitches on the south shore of the Loch. Woodland setting. Facilities are basic but fishing, forest walking and water sports are on your doorstep. 3 miles west of Kinloch Rannoch. Signposted on the loch's southside road. There is a covered area located over the burn for dry cooking if required and picnic tables onsite.
