Stayed in a wooden wigwam in May 2018. Campsite beautifully presented and quite a hidden gem. The washroom facilities are easily some of the best I saw in my tour around Scotland. Beautifully clean and well maintained. Obviously in May the site was very quiet but staff were helpful friendly and showed a genuine interest in each camper. Used the site for three days while in the area and would definitely use again. Great value for money......travelled there from a Pitlochry site where costs were double those I paid here for much less quality of facilities. The site is hidden away yet within easy walking distance of local shops and pubs. Also a great place to stay to access a wonderful woodland space for walks.

Had a one night stay on the site as a group from a motorcycle club. This is a fantastic site, all on level ground which seems to be maintained to a very high standard as well as the toilets and showers which are first class. I can't comment on the kids facilities as we were there without the kids and in need of beer, lol. The site is only a few minutes walk from the village which has a good shop and a couple of pubs, our choice was with the Balconie arms who are very friendly and inviting. A definite worth while visit and i am sure to return.

I spent a week there during July 2010 and from the moment we arrived we felt welcome and really enjoyed our stay, the kids had a great time and ran around in the big playpark. Not a big site but very well looked after and the owners are fantastic, we will be back. It was a nice bonus to have a water tap right next to our tent and the electric hook up. Showers nice and hot and very clean. For touring the surrounding area Evanton is a great wee spot, local Co-op and a couple of pubs if you fancy a night in.
