Wild Camping On Harris and Lewis
There are many great wild camping places on Harris and Lewis. The best pitches tend to be found on the west coast close to small sandy bays. Please treat all with respect and if parking close to homes ask for permission which is generally given. Some areas will not be suitable for dogs given livestock use common grazing. See weblink above for guidance on wild camping or visit www.outdooraccess-scotland.com/default.asp?nPageID=189. Photo is of Horgabost beach which has an official site ©Iain Cameron.
