Invercaimbe Caravan and Campsite |
This is a small family run caravan site with 20 mixed pitches situated close to the village of Arisaig and overlooking the Hebridean Islands of Eigg Rhum and Skye. There is a sandy beach and sheltered sea inlet on two sides providing a safe paddling, swimming and boating environment. The site is free draining sandy soil and has level firm standing suitable for motorhomes and caravans alike.

Inver Coille pronounced 'Inver Coya' click the button above to hear its pronunciation in Gaelic the 'Coille' part also means forest in Scottish Gaelic. It is the forest which surrounds our family-run campsite with the added benefit of a forestry path linking us directly to the Great Glen Way for everyone to enjoy.

This site was upgraded for the 2005 season with new toilet and shower blocks. It is a large open site located on the shore of Loch Morlich. 7 miles from Aviemore on the road to the Cairngorm Ski Centre. 220 touring pitches with electric hookups and ample room for tents but book ahead in high season. A good place for those who like to be solitary: you can look out over clean washed sands to Dunnet Head, the northernmost point of the mainland of Britain. Climb Dunnet Head for magnificent views over the Pentland Firth to Orkney and a great part of the north coast to Ben Loyal and Ben Hope. The Club describes the site as " On Scotland's sunshine coast, our new Club Site at Dunbar is just up the road from our old Barns Ness Site, but still close to the Barns Ness lighthouse.
