Just back from a couple of nights camping at Dalraddy. Have to say this is a gem of a place! Friendly staff, clean toilets and shower block. We had a pitch with electric hookup, some size of pitch. All I can say is this will be our go to place for camping in Speyside now, we'll be back soon!

I go often to the Highland Wildlife Park at Show more

I go often to the Highland Wildlife Park at Kingussie, and stay at this site, in my small camper van. I find the site very pleasant, with each of the bays screened by trees, giving plenty privacy. The touring van area seems to be far enough away from play areas to be quiet and peaceful (no screaming kids!). The staff have always been pleasant and helpful. I cannot comment fully on the shop, as I have only used it for milk, but it seems well enough stocked. The toilet/shower blocks are clean and pleasant, though a torch is recommended for night time excursions, as the paths are a bit rough. All-in-all, a good site, and I be using it again.

My wife and I had a great time as the campsite was Show more

My wife and I had a great time as the campsite was exactly what we were looking for. The feeling of being out in the Highlands with the benefit of good facilities. Staff at the shop/office were very friendly. The prices in the shop were round about the same as Tesco and we bought some of the locally sourced venison before leaving.The main camping area even had portaloos which saved a 5 minute walk in the middle of the night. There were even pitches off the main square for those who want a bit more privacy. We will be going back next year.
