Facilities are basic but fishing, forest walking and water sports are on your doorstep. 3 miles west of Kinloch Rannoch. Signposted on the loch's southside road. There is a covered area located over the burn for dry cooking if required and picnic tables onsite.

The site has its own indoor swimming pool and leisure centre which is charged for seperately. There is also an onsite restaurant. NO GROUPS UNLESS PREVIOUSLY ARRANGED.

The site is situated on the banks of the picturesque Kirk Loch in the small historic town of Lochmaben. Lochmaben boasts three lochs and was once the family seat of Robert the Bruce. The ruined castle stands beside Castle Loch which is popular with sailors and wind surfers.
