Very clean and tidy site. The Hotel on site closed but the Supermarket attached to the Garage beside site sold virtually anything you would need also an ATM. Also Shelias Cafe attached, good food. Convenient to ferry at Donoon etc. Good wlks for dogs etc. Stayed Sept '09

a very tidy site in an excellent centre for touring the region of Cowal and Argyll Nat. Park.. Miles of forest paths and very quiet, with scenic Pucks Glen and Botanical gardens on doorstep. A short ride to Dunoon with access to Ferry trips doon the Clyde.

Camped here in Easter 2005 - the site is mainly for touring and static caravans but there is a small patch for tents by trees and near the river so beware the midge. The facilities were very clean (small payment for shower)and the mini market in the adjacent garage sold every provision you could need. The food at The Cot House was fantastic and best of all they also did a bit of real ale ! Regular local bus into Dunoon which is 2 or 3 miles away.

Cot House Caravan Park

Located next to the hotel by the same name on A815. There is also a mini market and filling station in the village. Hardstanding for motorhomes and caravans. The site is overlooked by wooded hillsides and is 5 miles from the seaside town of Dunoon at the head of Holy Loch and alongside the river Eachaig.
