The site provides a well sheltered spot at the north eastern point of the Island. Located just 50m from the easily accessed white sands beach the site also offers a fantastic views of the surrounding Islands.

You may wild camp with consent from the local crofter or the local responsible for the common grasing. Ledgowan Lodge is located at Achnasheen and welcomes tent and motorhome campers.
Camper vans may use the car park over night and there is access to the bunkhouse toilet and shower facilities.
Tents are allowed "next to the bunkhouse or amongst the trees, please note, the ground can get a little wet if we have had heavy rain."
The site has no electric hook-up facilities.
