Firstly, a thank you to Peter (owner) for your help and empathy in our punctured bike situation. A wonderfully friendly owner and campsite with a good tent pitch for £6pppn. We stayed for only 1 night due to a bike issue that meant we had to camp in Castlebay instead (to catch the morning Oban ferry) but would've liked to have stayed longer. I would definitely return. On arrival, the croft looks small with not much going on. But then you enter the block where there are beautiful showers, a laundry room with honesty boxes and items to buy (honestly) if you've forgotten something. The kitchen is unexpected, and well equipped. There's also a TV with freeview, and broadband for your wifi. It is a warm building, with a heater too, and all the kitchen appliances you miss from home. After 3 weeks of camping, this was a haven. The camp dogs are funny too. A really really great site. The best I've ever stayed in. It is well thought out and very welcoming. We shall be returning.
