Spent 2 nights here in June 2014. Arrived late from the ferry - about 30 mins drive from Stornoway - owners very friendly and hospitable. Good base for sights of North Lewis but be aware very little open on a Sunday. Facilities clean and spacious - access to wi-fi a bonus. We had our only day of rain here in a 2 week trip through OHs so this may have affected our rating!

We stayed 2 nights in June 2014. Arrived late off the ferry - about 30 mins drive from Stornoway - owners very friendly and welcoming. Good base for the sights of North Lewis but be aware very little open on a Sunday ! Facilities spacious and clean. We had our only day of rain here in a 2 week trip down the OHs which may have affected our rating a little.

This is the only campground on the main road on Show more

This is the only campground on the main road on the west coast of Lewis, and we find it a great stop every 3 or 4 days after wild camping elsewhere on Lewis. Facilities are clean and copious, good laundry and drying line or machine, Highland Wifi available, level sites, black and grey dumping is low-level so good for those like us without cassettes and fresh water is available at each site. Staff friendly and very helpful. Location very convenient for Uig area, Callanais, Ness or Stornoway.
