The site is positioned overlooking a tidal bay with views of the neighbouring island of Benbecula and also the hills of South Uist. Small, peaceful 5 van site situated on a farm close to the farmhouse, and surrounded by open forestry, with ample walks and cycle tracks. Within 3/4 hours drive to Dundee, St.Andrews, Forth Bridge. 20 mins walk to village.
All pitches are hardstanding.
There is satellite tv hookup for two vans at the same time.

scottishcamping.com has had several reports 2011 of people being unable to locate this site and our recent attempts to contact the owner have been unsuccessful so we are unable to confirm this sites continuing existence. FOR INFORMATION: The scottishcamping map number 31 has also now been reallocated to a different site for the 2014 new map 3rd edition. Please let us know if you have visited recently and we will amend this entry.

| Rackwick Outdoor Centre with Camping |
Rackwick Outdoor Centre in Hoy has 2 bedrooms containing 4 beds each (2 bunk beds per room). Singles, families and groups are welcome for exclusive room or whole hostel bookings. No camping is available at Rackwick Hostel. There is access to the Hostel during the day once check-in is complete.

| Port A Bhaigh Am Fuaran Bar Altandhu |
There is now an official site called Port A Bhaigh located on the owners' croft next to the bar accomodating both tents and motorhomes. The campsite can accommodate 42 caravan/motorhomes on level hard stands with 26 of them having electrical hook ups and ample space for 50 tents.
The toilet, shower and laundry block has a very open and airy feel and is available for the site occupants to use 24 hrs, as is the chemical toilet disposal unit.
