Caldons Campsite Permanently Closed. Forestry Commission Scotland will not be re-opening Caldons Campsite. There will therefore be no shop and facilities at Caldons (though wild camping will be allowed). The nearest shop and campsite is now at Glentrool Holiday Park at Bargrennan, tel 01671 840280.

We leave the following on for information only - 6 miles from Stranraer located off the A715. This site has access to local beach. There is a bar and games room on site.

| Crunachy Caravan and Camping Site - CLOSED |
This site is now Loch Awe Holiday Park owned and run by Argyll holidays/Hoseasons which hires out static homes/cabins.Lying just off the A85 along side the service station and Spar shop. Modern facilities and disabled access. Hotel 5 mins walk. See weblink above for full information.

This site closed in 2006. It was located one mile outside of Invergarry. The owners still provide self catering accommodation in Highgarry Lodges & Highgarry Cottage along with B&B in Ardgarry Farmhouse.
