Newbridge country Park was very clean and well looked after. The team were very welcoming, friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge.
The site was in an excellent location and we felt very safe and secure there.
I cannot recommend this site enough. It is so peaceful with beautiful scenery and sky line at night.
It has everything that you need. The toilets and showers were immaculate. The site was very clean and well looked after and having the grey water & Elsan point near was pitches was good so didn't have far to walk.
Our 2 dogs loved running around the large grass dog walking area alongside the river and they even went for a paddle.
The site is only 2 miles from Dumfries town centre and easy access to all major roads, with major supermarkets and stores within a 5 minute drive.
The site is very secure at night with a locked gate. The best thing about the site was everything!
It was brilliant to have flat hardstanding pitches with EHU, free WIFI, free showers, free games room, and a large off-lead dog walking area with benches to sit and admire the views of the river and scenery.
I can honestly say after many many years of touring this is one of the best sites we have stayed at.
Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. We will stay again.
