This site was always clean and tidy during my Show more

This site was always clean and tidy during my visit. The toilet and shower facilities were always extremely clean. The views from the site were lovely, looking out over the water. The cycle/walk path that runs right past the site is worth exploring. (Pleasant walk to Broughty Ferry). For the children there is a great playpark just outside the site. There are shops just a short walk away - several bakers, pharmacy, Farmfoods and Tesco and also a few restaurants to choose from. I can recommend "The Van" diner at the entrance of the site which sells excellent food at resonable prices and friendly service. I found everyone at this site to be frindly and it was also very quiet and peaceful and resonably priced. Monifieth railway station is nearby but sadly no trains seem to stop here anymore. I will definately return to this site soon!

A lovely site with great views and a set of staff Show more

A lovely site with great views and a set of staff who could not be more helpful. We ha read reviews and noted that strong tent pegs would be needed - and they were. But if there is rain the ground dries really quickly. Toilets etc are spotless. Laundrette on site takes cash! The dish washing facilities excellent. No ball games on site - which I think is great. My young lads had no objection to walking for two minutes to the off site playpark. For casual cyclists there are lovely, dedicated flat cycle paths going to Broughty Ferry, or Carnoustie inthe opposite direction. Actually they do extend further. One visitor had cycled from Norway on them and tey extend to John o Groats! We'll be back!
