After reading this site's review (all one of them!) it was not quite what we expected.
The showers, WC and wash basins were spotlessly clean, well maintained, and
modern-looking (the review I read said they weren't too clean!).
This site is small with just about enough room for about 6 motorhomes/caravans on
hard gravel, and grass enough for 8 tents (assuming they're six metres apart) with
ample electric hook-ups. The showers give plenty of hot water for as long as you like
and are spacious. The website at stromaview.co.uk shows pictures of the facilities, as I've now discovered.
We came here only because the other sites were full. As it turned out that was fortuitous
and we stayed four days (long enough to see all there is in the immediate area).
A car and caravan cost us £12.00 a day for 2 persons, a dog and electric hook-up
(mid June 2011) - as far as we could tell, that's the cheapest in the area.
Although the site is fairly basic, it had all we needed, it's quiet and the owners were
helpful and friendly - we would visit again.
