Opened in 2005 Nydie is set in 10 acres, approximately 3 miles from St Andrews and offers fantastic views of St. Andrews,the golf course and its bay.The site has a male and female shower and toilet blocks with free hot water and a camp kitchen with sink,table and chairs and a stand to put cookers on.This proves very useful in bad weather for people in small tents without a communal area.Alongside these facilities the site has 25 electric hook Rating: 4.43 (26 votes)
We are the most northerly campsite and B&B on the UK mainland. The snack/gift shop is also the most northerly on the NC500, on your way to Dunnet Head Lighthouse.

We opened our site in July 2014 and it is situated next to our family run Net Manufacturing Business Gamrie Bay Prawn Trawls.
It is in a quiet location surrounded by working farms and rolling hillsides.

Ferry View is ideally located on the NC500, for exploring Caithness and is less than 1 mile from the Gills Bay Ferry for the Orkney Islands. Open all year round, this small family run site has hard standing and electric on all pitches and provides a "service" for those who just want to refill and empty waste. Licenced takeaway onsite. Just a one mile walk from the site is Chanonry Point, the best spot to watch the UK's most northern colony of bottlenose dolphins.
