Established site overlooking the Pentland Firth with views of the Orkney Islands. The site is situated midway between the ferry at John o'Groats and the roll-on roll-off ferry at Gills Bay. Both ferries have daily sailings to Orkney.

A good place for those who like to be solitary: you can look out over clean washed sands to Dunnet Head, the northernmost point of the mainland of Britain. Climb Dunnet Head for magnificent views over the Pentland Firth to Orkney and a great part of the north coast to Ben Loyal and Ben Hope.
