Rothiemurchus Estate Wild Camping |
Rothiemurchus estates have established two wild camping areas in order to encourage responsible wild camping. The first designated area is at Loch an Eilein next to the car park. Grid Ref NH 897 084. It has a basic toilet block which is open during the summer but may close at other times. Campers should therefore prepare for there being no facilities. This area is open to tent campers and motorhomes.

Ashmill Caravan Park |
Situated within walking distance of Doune with its shops, bars and restaurants this is a new site offering facilities for touring caravans, campervans and tent campers. Owned and run by Ms Young the site is well cared for. All pitches for tourers are hard standing and have electric hookups, along side this there are grassed areas for tents. Old Hall / Central Caravan Park |
This is a family run caravan site and is situated nearby a farm, beside Loch Watten. It is a quiet and pleasant area with amazing views across the county side, both day and night. The site is located midway between Wick and Thurso, which are the two main towns in Caithness.
Brown trout fishing is available on Loch Watten, which is within walking distance from the site. Boats can be hired for either a half day or full day. Fishing is also Rating: 2.60 (1 votes)

Sheigra Wild Camping |
Camping at the small sandy bay is allowed. There are no facilities other than a water pipe near to Sheigra House.

Moyle Park Campsite |
Moyle Park Campsite is situated on a working croft in a remote glen in beautiful Wester Ross. Excellent opportunities exist for hillwalkers; the Five Sisters of Kintail, Falls of Glomach, South Cluanie Ridge, Forcan Ridge, the Saddle and Ben Sgritheal to name but a few of the more popular walks in the area.

The Garths |
Fetlar presently has no dedicated facilities for camping or caravanning, however we are working on plans to provide both.
Fetlar hall is currently looking at providing hook up points for Caravans and Motorhomes.
We are also looking at options for providing a campsite with access to shower and toilet facilities.

Maragowan Caravan Club Site |
The site is an ideal family holiday base, set on one bank of the River Lochay, and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of the little holiday town of Killin. There is a 9-hole golf course 0.25m away or you can fish for trout (free) in the river on site without a permit; (paddling, swimming or boating are not advised as water levels can change rapidly and without warning). Nairn Lochloy Holiday Park has a superb setting, nestled between the fine white sand dunes of Nairn East Beach, a championship golf course and a beautiful marina. We have recently been advised by some visitors to scottishcamping.com that there is a small camping area set between the public conveniences and the shore where wild camping is permitted at a small cost to the local crofter. Located next to the hotel by the same name on A815. There is also a mini market and filling station in the village. Hardstanding for motorhomes and caravans. The site is overlooked by wooded hillsides and is 5 miles from the seaside town of Dunoon at the head of Holy Loch and alongside the river Eachaig.

Several beautiful walks lead away from the Club Site. Inverary has a fairytale castle which hosts a Highland Games in July.
