We opened our site in July 2014 and it is situated next to our family run Net Manufacturing Business Gamrie Bay Prawn Trawls.
It is in a quiet location surrounded by working farms and rolling hillsides.
All Pitches are hard standing & Fully serviced
No toilet or Shower facilities
No Tents allowed.

Ledgowan Lodge Hotel Bunkhouse and Campsite |
Ledgowan Lodge is located at Achnasheen and welcomes tent and motorhome campers.
Camper vans may use the car park over night and there is access to the bunkhouse toilet and shower facilities.
Tents are allowed "next to the bunkhouse or amongst the trees, please note, the ground can get a little wet if we have had heavy rain."
The site has no electric hook-up facilities.

Cardoness has been in the same family for generations, and is a traditional working Estate, with a farm, both commercial and amenity forestry, and a small Salmon stake net fishery out in the Bay. East Balthangie is ideally situated for exploring Banff and Buchan. This area has a wealth of beautiful and interesting places to visit and enjoy.
The Castle Trail and Coastal Trail are within easy reach and of course the Distilleries are always popular with our holiday makers. The National lighthouse museum is nearby also.

Windhaven Cafe, Camping and B&B |
We are the most northerly campsite and B&B on the UK mainland. The cafe is also the most northerly cafe on the NC500, on your way to Dunnet Head Lighthouse.
The site overlooks Brough Bay where you can sit and view the seals from our seal viewing point.
Back in the 1930s Windhaven was the most northerly Post Office and shop on the UK mainland, until it closed down in the 1960s.
