This site was upgraded for the 2005 season with new toilet and shower blocks. It is a large open site located on the shore of Loch Morlich. 7 miles from Aviemore on the road to the Cairngorm Ski Centre. 220 touring pitches with electric hookups and ample room for tents but book ahead in high season. Killegruer Caravan Site is situated on the west coast of the Kintyre Peninsula 12 miles north of Campbeltown and 24 miles south of Tarbert, Loch Fyne.
It enjoys superb views over the Atlantic Ocean towards the islands of Gigha, Islay and Jura.
The site caters for static and touring caravans, motor homes and tents.
The area around the site is home to a wide variety of wildlife, with seals, otters and even dolphins to be seen.

The site is quiet and tranquil with almost a 180 degree panorama to the Ochil Hills, where in autumn the purple heather and golden bracken are brilliant. The nearby Gartmorn Dam country park and nature reserve offers a ranger service of guided walks and there is excellent fishing.
