Ours is a family run site on the banks of Ettrick Water right in the heart of the beautiful Ettrick Valley, a place of rolling hills, winding rivers and pine forests.
A 7-acre level park, 3 acres of which is a touring site for caravans, tents and motor homes with electric hook-up, available on grass or hard-standing. We also have a range of static caravans. Seasonal tourers always welcome either annually or for summer or winter months.

This wild camping site relates to a small area opposite the public toilets, for tents and small campervans only. NO CARAVANS OR LARGE CAMPERVANS. Please keep to the area south of the burn and do not camp on the beach or dunes of the bay as a great deal of conservation measures have been invested in the area. A good place for those who like to be solitary: you can look out over clean washed sands to Dunnet Head, the northernmost point of the mainland of Britain. Climb Dunnet Head for magnificent views over the Pentland Firth to Orkney and a great part of the north coast to Ben Loyal and Ben Hope. The Garths |
Fetlar presently has no dedicated facilities for camping or caravanning, however we are working on plans to provide both.
Fetlar hall is currently looking at providing hook up points for Caravans and Motorhomes.
We are also looking at options for providing a campsite with access to shower and toilet facilities.

Chalmersquoy Campsite |
Situated at the start of the village which is 7 miles from the ferry terminal. Modern 4 star hostel with all grass area for camping and caravans. The camping area has own facilities seperate from the hostel and includes a campers kitchen with pool table. The site extended its camping area in 2006 and now has 14 electric hookups including hard standing pitches. Shops and hotel in village. Rocky beach close by.
