This is a quiet park and is the ideal place to get away from it all. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is near to beach and about half a mile from centre of Portpatrick. It also has own fishing pond. Can be busy in summer so book ahead.

Caldons Campsite Permanently Closed. Forestry Commission Scotland will not be re-opening Caldons Campsite. There will therefore be no shop and facilities at Caldons (though wild camping will be allowed). The nearest shop and campsite is now at Glentrool Holiday Park at Bargrennan, tel 01671 840280.

This site on the edge of Luce Bay (home to the TV series 2000 Acres of Sky) and is carefully landscaped into seven intimate pitching area with sea views. There is direct access from the site to a safe, clean and sandy beach which is ideal for sailing, watersports and sea angling. An ideal base for exploring the Forests and Rhins of Galloway, an unspoilt corner of Scotland.
