The site provides a well sheltered spot at the north eastern point of the Island. Located just 50m from the easily accessed white sands beach the site also offers a fantastic views of the surrounding Islands.

Fluran Caravan Isle of Barra |
The owners of Fluran Caravan offer the availability of one pitch for a motorhome however this need to be booked by phone in advance of arrival. It is the only available pitch within Castlebay. The site also offers a 2 Bedroom Static caravan for hire which sleeps 4 comfortably in one double and one twin room. The caravan can accommodate 6 on request. Isle of Barra |
There are now two official site on the Isle of Barra. We list both and you can access them via a search for Barra. You may wild camp with consent from the local crofter or the local responsible for the common grasing. Please see the weblink above and read the visitors reviews below which relate to camping near to the airport (now closed off due to erosion), on Vatersay and at Eoligarry. Kilbride Campsite Isle of South Uist |
Kilbride Campsite is at Cille Bhrighde on the south shore of the Outer Hebrides island of South Uist, by a beach of white shell sands and the aquamarine seas of the Sound of Barra.

The site is positioned overlooking a tidal bay with views of the neighbouring island of Benbecula and also the hills of South Uist. Ideally located for shoreline and moorland walks with several places of historical interest close by with easy access to public transport. The camp ground is situated on the Island Of Benbecula which means its ideally situated for all of the islands that make up our little piece of the Outer Hebrides. We have North Uist and Berneray to the North and South Uist and Eirskay to the South along with a myriad of smaller islands all of which are connected by permanent causeways. Bara, Harris and Lewis are accesible via Ferry from here.
