A little gem! We arrived at the end of our 'Grand Tour' of Scotland, unbooked - we originally only had planned to stay the one night, but when we saw how good the site was, we satyed for two nights!
The owner was very friendly and very helpful. The toilet block was spotless with wash-hand basin cubicles (great for brushing your teeth in private! LOL) Very quite, even though the site was quite busy. My son made friends with some other boys around his age, and loved the fact that the planes from the nearby airport passed right by (this may be a downside for some people, but didn't bother us - they don't fly through the night) Only a few minutes drive to a huge Asda and shopping village or to the park-and-ride into Edinburgh (Edinburgh was amazing - loved it there and would liked to have more time there) A site run as a campsite should be run!
