This site has the most amazing shower, ever! There is only one but it is worth it. Everything is spotless. Excellent washup area. Level pitches, lovely setting. Owners are so helpful but chilled - thoroughly recommended.

We had a wonderful two weeks on Mull, staying at Crannich for the full period - the ease with which White-tailed Eagles, Golden Eagles and Otters can be seen from the roadside makes it "magical Mull" for us. No need to go on any expensive trips, just stop by the side of the road! The approach track in the site is exceedingly rough, needing walking pace to avoid damage. The pitches would be very tight if an awning used but ok without. The toilet/shower facility is very high quality but with only one of each, it does mean watching for others leaving! Big money can be saved by caravanners - using the Lochaline and Corran ferries is much cheaper than Oban-Craignure, even taking the fuel into account for the longer journey, because Calmac (owned by Scottish government) still charges by length - we saved £70 each way.

You could spend the rest of your life touring Show more

You could spend the rest of your life touring round campsites and still you would not find shower or toilet facilities as good as this site has, however we didn’t drive all the way to mull just for a shower, the rest of the island and its wildlife are amazing, we woke up every morning to the sight of sea eagles on the hill opposite, we saw sea otters in Salen Bay just near the end of the road. Sam & Robin who run the site could not have been more helpful. If you are thinking of going to Mull, stay at this site, do not look any further, you will not be disappointed. Robin recommended the Sea Eagle feeding trip; you have to try this if you are into wildlife. We could not believe how close we came to these wild animals. One of the best holidays ever and without doubt the best site ever! I rated this site five stars for everything, including kids facilities, our kids are into wildlife and they gave it five stars but there isn’t a playground or anything.
