We stayed here for 4days/ 3 nights at the end of May 2012. We had beautiful hot sunny weather for the duration and had a brilliant time.
The hosts were very helpful and were lovely people, always had time for a chat. They also gave us fresh eggs from the free range hens, (some of whom had very cute baby chicks!)
the site was great, our pitch was nice and flat with a firepit and BBQ. good quality Firewood was available for purchase on site. The hammock was very comfy and great for lying down and relaxing. Very scenic location with views of the surrounding forests.
The toilet/shower blocks are nearing completion and at the time of our visit 1 toilet and 1 shower were available with plenty of hot water.
The three lochs site a few mins drive away had lots of activities. This is where the trekking was operated from and I had a lovely hack on a beautiful cob who was very well behaved, and was able to have a nice canter.
We will definitely be returning later in the year for a longer visit.
