Great Campsite with excellent facilities and lovely owners, newly refurbished shower block is fantastic with waterfall shower heads which are always hot, toilets, several wash areas to clean hands and face, as well as well covered washing up areas for doing the dishes, free WiFi covering much of the site although we ended up in a field they normally only use for wedding functions so couldn't get WiFi for much of the trip (not entirely a bad thing) as a little bonus there is a small shop which sells your normal campsite basics, come night time and morning the shop is a basic takeaway taking orders before 5pm for dinner (pizza's and chips) if you didn't fancy cooking the odd night and in the morning they serve fresh baked croissants and pain au chocolat again handy if you fancied not having to cook breakfast all of which was very reasonably priced. Access to several outstanding beaches was less than 2mins walk from the tent and the surrounding area has plenty to see and do, ehu is also available. Will definitely be returning again. You are well advised to book in advance as this is a popular site and for very good reason.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in July Show more

Stayed here for a couple of nights in July 2011. The site is excellent! Well drained, spacious and very well kept. The on site facilities consist of an excellent modern WC/shower block which is very clean. However, the best thing about the site, is its location - perfect! A very short walk along the sites own private footpaths brings to not one, but four separate Arisaig white beaches, the largest of which was made famous in the film "Local Hero". Local village and Mallaig only a short drive away, so shops etc are within easy distance. If you don't do anything else, stay here for the legendary beaches. Thoroughly recommend

This is one of the best camp sites we have ever Show more

This is one of the best camp sites we have ever visited. Achingly beautiful sandy beaches and sunset over the Cuillins from the entrance to the tent! The facilities were really well-organised to be handy and never seemed to be over-crowded (in July). Lovely clean showers, basins and loos. We had a fair bit of rain while staying for five nights, but the French drains and sandy soil coped well and kept the camping field in excellent condition. We were sorry to realise that the site is currently up for sale. I particularly liked the eco-friendly approach and helpfulness of the owner/managers. They will be a hard act to follow.
