Where to start. 2 weeks in the summer of 2011 and we LOVED it. This is a little bit of paradise on the West coast of Scotland. We travelled with our 6year old daughter and she was never bored. The beach is perfect. On a sunny day you could be in the Caribbean. GREAT fishing from the rocks or nearby Lochinver pier. Launch your boat/Kayak right from the beach. Lobsters + Crabs + mackerel delivered fresh to your tent :) Bonfires on the beach, walks round the coves and scenery you can only see on TV. Facilities are good and there is an outside hose to wash of sand from surfboards and wetsuits. No reservations taken which is a negative - 1st night no electric but the wife managed without the hair straighteners. Take an additional extension lead so you can get power but not be limited to pitch choice. No set pitches so camp where you want - right next to the sea or sheltered by the rocks. Nearest shop is 5 miles away but there is a small shop onsite with essentials including ice cream and sweets for the child. Also a chip shop in evenings of summer but we didn't use so can't comment. Again - West coast of Scotland - if you don't like midgies then holiday in Spain (Not too bad because of sea breeze). BY FAR the best site I have been to and would recommend a million times over.

I was a day visitor to this site and it is in a beautiful location, the beach is just wonderful and can beat anything abroad! The views are breathtaking. Facilities on site are in need of updating and tidying up and the customer service aspect can be improved upon, but the location is first class and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Perfect if you are into water-sports!
