We stayed here at the end of Aug for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. On arriving we were greeted by the owner who could not do enough for us. We booked in advance and our pitch was reserved and he walked us over to it to check it was ok. He then let us park up and get settled before he wanted any money from us. Later in the afternoon he came round to check all was ok. The site is located in a beautiful spot overlooking the Loch. The pitches were very spacious and very well looked after. The toilets & showers were very clean and tidy, the showers were spacious with lots of hot water. The dish washing facilities were superb with about 6 sinks in the room, they also supply little tables if you want to use disposable BBQs. Midges were not really a problem, there were a few at dawn & dusk. The weather was great, we had a few downpours but they were few and far between. I would highly recommend this site to anyone visiting the area, you are made to feel like part of a big family from arriving to leaving. I only put 2 stars for facilities for kids as we didn't see any swings/slides but this is a great place for kids to explore so no real need for swings. There is only one thing I would suggest and that would be a few more on site lights at night - we were on site number 23 and so 1 or 2 lights around that area so you could find your way to the toilet would be great but this is by no means a downside to the site. We will definitely be back and will tell all our friends about it.
