We stayed here on our last night of the west highland way. The campsite is small and in front of the cabins that you can also rent. The view is spectacular and the burgers in the bar were amazing. Plus lots of local beers and a massive range of whisky. You can also book breakfast in the hotel.

The idea of pitching behind a pub/hotel was at Show more

The idea of pitching behind a pub/hotel was at first somewhat inviting; however the ground was exceptionaly hard, and not really suitable for lightweight alloy pegs. The proximity of the lochside althought spectacular did provide more than the usual supply of midges due to the sheltered nature of site.

this site is a brilliant site for location and Show more

this site is a brilliant site for location and facilities. However the small space available to camp is, although very nice, not ideal. All in all a good site but I did not enjoy the food.
