I stayed here on day four of the WHW. I arrived as the owner was leaving however he opend up and was very cheerful and helpful. The camptise showers were new and clean, the dry room was a great help and the cooking facilities were good. Overall it was an amazing campsite with friendly staff, clean facilities in a quiet beutiful setting.

I've been here twice in recent months. On both occasions the staff were fantasticly helpfull. It is basic, but come on, what do you expect for only £13 a night? Kinlochleven itself is a very small place with just the one shop and 4 bars. I would NOT recommend the Tailrace Inn for a drink. The staff were very rude, and made us feel uncomfortably. Make your way to the Mcdonald Hotel on the Fort William Road, for a much more friendly experience.

A lovely site to stay at if wanting a quick stop Show more

A lovely site to stay at if wanting a quick stop on tour. Most campers only stay one night. Not a big camping area but ample. Staff were very helpful - especially Callum who helped us with our freeze blocks happily. Good facilities and key coded for security. Had a small pub crawl in the village - would recommend the Tailrace Inn and the ICE bar but not the Antlers it is a local pub for local people and you get funny looks when you go in there! Good location for walkers etc Would book ahead as there is limited space.
