Drumlochart Caravan park has to be the best caravan park I have ever visited. There is plenty to do for the kids between playing in the park, feeding the goats and swiming in the pool. They also loved the tree swing around the loch and going for a boat ride around the loch. There are boats available for hire at reception. The Aldouran Bar was another plus. Everyone is very friendly and the family room was great as we could take the kids to the bar alongwith us. The Games room was fantastic as welll boasting a wide array of games such as a game where you stand on ski's and make your way down a mountain. there was also a movement senstive police gun game as well as air hockey, 2 pool tables(1 in the bar 1 in games room) sega racing game and 5 puggys. There is also lovely places to visit arounmd the park such as Stranraer and Port Patrick. FANTASTIC PARK 5 STARS !!!!

been going here for 3 years now, what a great park set in a lovely part of the world, staff are brill and family focussed, shop stocks the basics to get you bye, club does well keeping the family entertained, toilet block always very clean with free showers, heated outdoor pool is great, it’s a fight getting the kids home!! You can see there is a lot of effort put into making this site one you would want to return too. Book early though if you don’t want to be disappointed.

I have just returned from this site with my family. This is one of the friendliest sites I have ever visited everything is family orientated.We were made to feel very welcome. The site is beautifully laid out and gives you a feeling of seclusion and privacy due to the high hedges. The heated (free) pool is super and we struggled to get kids out.Don't go to this site if you are looking for excitement as the pace of life is very slow and relaxed.The lounge has family entertainment that every one enjoyed. The toilets are very clean as is the whole site.We loved the walk to the private loch(two minutes) where you can fish for free and play on the tree swing.
