This is a lovely site that has been owned by the same couple for over fifty years. It is well maintained and a great place for touring The Rhinns of Galloway and South West Scotland. It is a short walk into the town of Stranraer with a number of historic pubs and eating places. It is also quite close to Stranraer football ground. For ferries to and from Ireland it is a great stopping off point. The immaculate grounds are very safe for children and the park is teeming with wildlife including red squirrels. We hope to take our grandchildren there very soon.

I have stayed on this site numerous times over the Show more

I have stayed on this site numerous times over the past number of years and was there in May. Admittedly I use it on my way to or from the ferry and its central location is very handy for the surrounding area. Facilities are spotless although one nighters will find themselves using the older toilet block. Site is well back from the main road - no road noise it is very quiet and a 10 minute walk takes you to the centre of Stranraer and local supermarkets. Hard stands for caravans and seperate level grass field for campers

This is a very convenient site for seeing the Rhinns Of Galloway.The site is well controlled by its owners who look after their customers well. In all a nice secure feeling site with access to the ferries and the rest of Galloway.
