Arrived again for a short break at this wonderful campsite. It has been taken over by new owners, who have experience from running sites in England. First night our electricity cut out (only using caravan heater and tv) and had to wait till following morning to get it sorted (it was reported at 23.30 so accept it was late). Cut out again the following day too!! Also pool closed 2 out of the 3 days we were there which was diappointing, as it was cloudy on those days - did rain later. On our final day when it was sunny we asked to stay on for a further 30 mins to use pool but informed charge would £5!! Fair enough if we were staying in excess of an hour but seemed excessive as this was first time pool opened in the 3 days. Note from previous entries this site only takes 2 people tents -this has changed. Told we could not erect annexe, but notice that at least two others had annexes erected. All in all between closed pool, excessive charge to stay on and failed electricity, it was a bit disappointing. However, contact with wardens was friendly enough and always ready to smile. Great site and with a bit more of an "accomodating " approach from warden, it could be a fantastic site once electricity sorted out.
