I stayed in September 2021.
This was my last site on a seven day tour of Scotland on my motorcycle, and it was an absolute corker.
By the time I arrived the office was closed, but the e-mail instructions sent prior to my arrival allowed me to get my info pack which gave me clear information of where everything was and how to access it.
There is limited space for tents, however the area was well set out and cared for. The grass was long enough to add some softness to the ground and short enough that your feet did not get wet first thing in the morning.
The toilets, showers and basins were all immaculately clean and I especially liked the individual washing cubicles.
An added bonus is the cabin with stainless steel work surface, running cold water and a light. This allowed me to cook my evening meal easily, as by the time I had set up camp I was starting to lose daylight.
The site was pretty busy, but very quiet at night and the other people staying were all extremely friendly.
A really delightful site, well placed, easy to find and a few minutes walk from the town. I would certainly be happy to stay there again.
