Queen Elizabeth Caravan Park

Stonehaven is famous for its quaint little shops, tranquil restaurants and historic enclosed harbour. The unique art deco open-air Olympic size swimming pool is within walking distance. The highlights of the summer season are the Highland Games and half marathon race. The caravan park is situated beside the village of Cowie, on the promenade next to the sports centre. Scenic beach walks to the cliffs of Dunnottar Castle. Open end of March to beginning of January. As of 2013 this site is now run by the Caravan Club and is open to non members.
