have been to portsoy caravan sight a lot of times,kids love going back,ok it has a small road going through it,but it dosnt bother me or the kids.they can run wild that is what holidays are all about.and people are friendly,good pub food is avalible in town,a short walk,kids love the ice cream shop,my only gripe is the chip shop not as good after it changed hands.as for the caravan sight good washing facilities,warden is good with the kids good play area,the beach across the road is teaming with sea life,witch is a good education for the kids to explore,to sum up portsoy caravan park.great place for kids there is older people there that stay the whole season so it must be a good place to be.go there and see for u r self and u wont be disapointed, if u r a scot,SEE U R OWN COUNTRY FIRST. and everyone else is invited.

This is a fantastic site. I think it's perfect for kids and cannot understand previous comments. The site has a great playpark and is right on the beach which is mainly stoney but has enough sandy bits for castle building. There is also a lovely wee burn for the kids to paddle and fish in. There is a public road going through it but we didn't find it a problem. All traffic (and there isn't much) goes very slowly. Yes there are lorries sometimes but they honestly do not cause a problem and we were right next to the road. The warden is very helpful and welcoming. It's just a short walk into the village centre to the shops (co-op, icecream shop, a couple of cafes). Our kids played all day here either at the playpark or on the beach. They are in full view all the time so you get a bit of peace as well as peace of mind. The toilet block is spotless and nice touches like wee rugs and flowers make it all the more welcoming. There are also laundry facilities. All for £14.50 a night inc awning. We will definitely be back.

This is not a campsite for famalies or for people Show more

This is not a campsite for famalies or for people that like shoping, if sea fishing, coastel walking, rock-climbing and bouldering then portsoy is for you. good harbour with fishing into deep water possible at low tide from the harbour and rocks and cliffs to the south of the campsite. myself and my friend got there at 11pm and where still able to get a pitch. but didnt relise that the road into the and throught the site was the acsece for the harbour, that was untill i looked out of the tent to see trucks drive 10feet in front of us. athough the road is very quite i would still camp as far from the lower road as possible.
