We selected this campsite due to it being near to Tain, where it's beautiful. We were parked down at the bottom of the site amongst tents and other vans, it is a downside having the road on oneside and train on the other, the toliets/showers were a bit of a walk, but clean and tidy. The great side of this campsite for us is that we were left alone to enjoy our bbqs and let hubby check all his pics of the distillary and surrounding areas out whilst the kids cycled up and down the site road.

Stayed here one night in June, before heading down to Rockness Festival. Very friendly staff, beautifully kept facilites - very clean and beautifully decorated toilet block. Showers were lovely and hot and lasted a long time - one 10p was enough even though the sign asks for 2. The "secluded tent area" was right at the end of the site, which unfortunately tapers down to a narrow strip of grass between the main A road on one side and an active railway line on the other! Hedges either side provide privacy but unfortunately not much sound insulation! 5 minute drive from Tain which was exactly why we chose it. A lovely site, probably better suite dto caravans than our flimsy canvas living quarters. Take earplugs and you'll be fine.

Excellent campsite, peaceful and beautifully kept. Amazing Playarea - kids didn't want to leave!! Friendly and welcoming owners. We used it as a base for exploring the Northern Highlands and the Orkney trip was perfect we were collected from the site by Puffin Express. Would reccomend to anyone.
