Ardnamurchan Campsite

Bogha Caol Ard (pronounced bo cool ard) campsite on the edge of Kilchoan has stunning views down the Sound of Mull. It is the only campsite at the western end of the Ardnamurchan Peninsular to have it own toilet and shower facilities. The facilities are in an original stone byre which has recently been renovated. Facilities include two electric showers and two toilets, the washbasins in all cubicles have hot water. This will be the second season for the campsite and is the first phase of an ongoing development. There is an 8 Berth Caravan, 8 Tent Pitches and 2 Camper Van Pitches as yet Electric hook up is not available (available 2006). There are Toilets & Showers (and a laundry in 2006). The campsite is situated about half a mile beyond the village shop (Ferry Stores). The entrance is a bit steep and is not suitable for very large camper vans or caravans.
