Thoroughly recommend this site. Great location and lovely, well cared for grounds. Nice, flat, well drained pitches. Facilities spotless and wee shop on site for esentials. Warm welcome from wardens - very helpful and accommodating. Many thanks for our recent stay.

Stayed here for 4 nights in April 2008. The wardens were very friendly and offered us a pitch near the play area when they realised we had kids. They then offered to pitch our van for us. I found the site very peaceful with plenty space for the kids to run around in safety. The play area only consists of a chute and a couple of swings but my two seemed delighted with this and also building dens in the woods. There is plenty to do around and Scone Palace Gardens is worth a visit with a maze and adventure playground and generally lovely gardens to play in. Didn't bother going into the palace itself. Further afield, Scone aerodrome has a lovely farm shop and fantastic antique shop which unbelievably welcomed kids with open arms and even encouraged them to ride on the (very old and costly) rocking horse. Active Kids at Stanley is also great with a huge outdoor play area as well as a cafe and indoor play area. Perth is great to wander around with a traditional town centre and nice shops.

We stayed in this site in July 2006. This is a large site in very pleasant setting. Level ground and well spaced and accessible pitches. The site is split into several sub-sites, with landscaping in between. On the down side (for our preference) the site is very busy and was very noisy, late at night, whan we stayed. Although we have three kids ourselves, this site was too noisy for us to consider a repeat visit in the future.
