stayed here for 3 days and as you expect from the caravan club the facilities were great on site, nice and easy 2 minute drive into the village for supplies. thats the good side, unless the weather is good the facilites for kids are '0', the beach is the only activity for the kids when the weather is good and to be honest it is not the cleanist beach. we were pitched in the centre bull ring which floods, no one tells you this prior to the rain! the staff were freindly but not very person oriented. good site if you have no kids, like golf (you have to cross the course to get to the beach) and it does not rain.

Stayed here on our way north and on our way back Show more

Stayed here on our way north and on our way back south in August 2006. We were struck by how well laid out and cared for the site is with nice touches like seats and flower troughs as well as mature trees and shrubs. Hard standing pitches as well as grass are available. The long and beautiful beach is a three minute walk away, though you do have to cross the golf course to reach it and keep an eye out for missiles! If you fancy a walk into Brora village (plenty shops and an excellent Co-op) the shortest and safest route, which should take you 30 or 40 minutes, is via the beach to Brora harbour and then turn right up past the golf club. Looks like the fishing where the river runs through the harbour could be good, but didn't try it this trip.
