Have now stayed at least six times at Inverroy. It is a convenient location for nearby hills and mountains, plus a 15 minute walk to Roybridge Station. A flat site with basic facilities for £6 p.n. (tent). As indicated before, these could do with some renovation. Unfortunately during my 4 night stay, one of the two Gents toilets was not working. This was manageable until the Whitsun bank holiday, but then more visitors arrived which made the situation difficult. A simple plumbing repair was ignored by the owner - and he did know.

Stayed another 4 nights in May 2011. Only person camping at time, though it was very poor weather. The (mens) shower, toilets and the dishwashing room are now in need of a thorough clean and some re-furbishment. If the walls and ceiling were cleaned and tidied-up, with some relatively minor work it would make all the difference. Making sure the waste bin was regularly cleaned would also help. Still, a small, welcoming site and ideally located for nearby mountains, including a 15 minute walk to Roybridge for railway station access. £6 p.n. for tent is still great value.

I have stayed here several times before. Camped at the site 4 nights in May 2010. Small, friendly site. For three of the nights mine was the only tent. Facilities could benefit from a minor refurbishment, but excellent value at £6 per night. As in the past I used Roybridge Station which is a 15 minute walk away on the main road. There is a pavement for most of the way.
