Stayed 2 nights at this campsite in late September. Facilities were the most basic of any campsite we have EVER been to. No hand dryer/paper towels in toilets and 10p for hot water in a sink. 20P for showers and anything else electrical and washing up water. The shower/toilet blocks resembled a building that someone had not bothered to finish! Yes it was cheap but will not be returning which is a shame because it is in a good location.

Stayed 4 nights from 11th May 2011. Camped here once before two years ago, so knew site. Convienient for Newtonmore and Newtonmore Station, which can be reached across the fields. Basic site with friendly lady whom I spoke to. Seem to operate a flexible rate for campers which varies between £5-8 p.n. and lower for multiple nights. Toilet facilities not maintained to quite the level of cleansliness as before. Rather limited space for tents, especially if ground is sodden, due to statics/caravans parked around the whole perimeter. I would use this site again due to low fees and convenience.

Open site surrounded by wonderful views, basic but clean toilets and shower,s 20p coin require (at time of visit) washing machine,iron, ironing board, all 20p. great transport/cafe within 5 mins of site very good meals for reasonable price, Newtonmore within walking distance, visited almost every year since 2008, be back this year. ideal for trout fishing , permit required from shop in Newtonmore, camp price cheap for these days.
