Stayed here for 1 night in our motorhome with our 6 & 4 year olds in Aug '11. Wish we could have stayed longer. Told we could arrive from 8am and leave by 1pm following day which makes it excellent value for money! Could pitch and hook up where ever we liked, no allocated pitches just 4 hook ups by a tree and park where you like. This which may be a problem if in a motorhome you stayed more than 1 night, went out and someone took the pitch you had bagged! Site has good views and is sheltered by mature trees which will be lovely in autum, clean very tidy and well kept though toilet and showers dated and could do with upgrading. Road round site was fantastic for our children to ride their bikes on. There is a small burn running into sea which is good fun to build dams in and play with fishing nets etc, beach is stony but level. Swings and large sand pit for children so they could build their sandcastles there. Shop was good and had some good quality bottles of wine. Also had a van selling reasonably priced bacon rolls etc for breakfast and chilli, curry etc in the evening, we had taken our own food but it did smell good when we passed. Owner very helpful and friendly, will definatley be returning.
