We didn't actually camp here as the wind was too much for our rediculously large tent - have since got a smaller one - but would have very much liked to as the views were brilliant and the small site very cosy.We'll definately be back sometime.

Extremely helpful owners who went beyond the call Show more

Extremely helpful owners who went beyond the call of duty to help when our campervan broke down. Clean and quiet, with lovely surrounding area. Well run, and soon to be improved by guest house and new wash facilities. Good local information also provided. Certainly will return. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay with free clean hot showers, then well recommended. Local spar shop provides basics, otherwise a fair way for supplies in Wick but if you break down, on a bus route!

Arrived to a warm welcome from Rhona and from Show more

Arrived to a warm welcome from Rhona and from that point she was there to take care of any problem that may have arisen, (put curtains up in toilets immediately upon hearing people could be seen through frosted glass). A number of 1 night stays passed through during our week stay but there was never unwanted noise, or commotion. Ablutions/ toilet facilities at present are better used by couples or families rather than individuals else you may find a queue. The only fault we found (minor) was that dishwashing facilities are in the open so an umbrella was needed when it rained. Would certainly go back, especially as the site is being improved/ enlarged as funds permit.
