If you are a caravanner brilliant site to stay on. It is an affiliated site so owned by Eddie and not Caravan club. Eddie is always out there working on the site and has water features and flowers all over the place.
Small toilet block but that is because the planners won't let them replace them. However the facilities are kept scrupilously clean. He is proud of his site but not over officious - if you have a problem he will be there to help and he seems to have built up a group of loyal and regular visitors.
No shop on site, you are encouraged to use local facilities and as it is on edge of village within walking distance of good range of shops, pubs etc.
Wildlife such as red squirrels visit the site and wood just above has deer and large raptors.
Nearby is Hermitage castle and Kielder and Hadrians Wall within easy driving distance.
