Tried to stay on this site whilst cycle touring,which I do twice a year,spoke to the wardens wife after riding from the evening ferry at Craignure,said there would be no problem with finding an area to camp plenty of room .I was then kept waiting for half an hour while the warden arrived...only to be told they could not fit me in, this then gave me a ride in the dusk to the next site, and I then had to pitch my tent in the dark! The reason given was although they had plenty of room they only have one shower(shared with male/female) I said it was ok. as I had showered on the ferry and didnt need it, but was still turned away.

Stayed here for one night in Sept 2006. Very friendly owners and lovely quiet site. The site is small and has a nice feel to it surrounded by trees. It has all the facilities you could need, the only downside being one shower, which at busy times could be a problem (although another may be made availble if you speak with the owners). Great little site.
