We camped at Riverside for two nights in wet weather. It has very good drainage, so no mud to stamp into the tent, beautiful location by river and stream, plus a playground for the kids. It was also very quiet at night, perhaps because we were surrounded by caravans, not other tents. Rather crowded. You can walk into town along the river, site is on the route of the Borders walk, very infomative Tourist Info kiosk onsite with useful leaflets.
