This is a gem of a campsite and the new owners John & Sally have become like an extended family due to the number of times we visit during the year. If you have an issue they can't do enough to accommodate you. The facilities are clean, the campsite is well maintained and checked regularly. We love the addition of the herb garden. This is a wonderful quiet campsite which is enjoyed by everyone who visits. It has the most beautiful beach on its doorstep, a surf club to enrol your children into and there are so many activities in nearby villages for rainy days. Just surf the internet before you visit. We go home feeling relaxed and stress free. We have visited a lot of campsites but this one tops them all!

The people who own the site could let families Show more

The people who own the site could let families have fun. You get a card for a 4 minute shower and you need to be back in your tent by 9pm for quiet time. No laughing or talking allowed oh and if your dog barks also not allowed. If you talk after 9pm you will be asked to pack up your things and leave No Joke we were absolutley gob smaked never ever have we been spoken to by a teenager left in charge of a site like this. The beach is beautiful but we will never stay at this site again. Would highly recommend Portsoy Links Caravan park.

Just back from our latest trip to Sandend and as Show more

Just back from our latest trip to Sandend and as usual we had a wonderful time. The location can't be bettered, the site is extremely clean, safe and very well maintained. Bernard and Jane were as friendly and helpful as usual - nothing too much trouble and always very friendly. When we booked we asked for a pitch at the front which we got. Agree that the dishwashing facilities could be extended to more than one sink and the park could do with a play area for the kids. However the main reason you go to Sandend is for the amazing beach and the kids (and some adults) have huge amount of fun making dams etc! Can't wait for our next visit.
