i stopped this campsite oct 2010 for my daughters wedding and gala 2009. toilet block was brilantly well heated, staff were absolutely bril, first time we needed electric hockup because of my husband medical problems they was bril the way they sorted it for him. this is a lovely basic little site well cared for and maintained close to the border bril to visit when gala on

Hi, a nice and handy wee site for Annan town, on a bit of a slope which can be terrible when wet it gets a bit soggy down by the fence the west side of toilet block and can be a bit of a problem when trying to tow caravan out myself i used motor mover on caravan but not everyone has them on there unit, and the toilet block is basic amenities that just work but they work, football club next door is great for a few pints can get a bit noisy at times, but a fine base for exploring area and some nice walks, price is very reasonable which is a bonus. Been on this site a couple of times in 2005 and 2007 for the local festival in July....

small park that doubles up as the car park for the Show more

small park that doubles up as the car park for the local athletic / football club when functions or matches are on. Pitches are in secluded area surrounded by trees so we could not actually see the large park or the river from our pitch. Short path down to the lovely large park and river walk which are very nice. We took bikes to go on the sustrans cycle path - this uses "b" roads so we only did around 7 miles in total as the road became a bit too busy for a leisurely cycle. There is a twin tub and dish washing facilities - however these are only to be found in the ladies loos / shower - my husband found this very amusing as he did not need to assist in anyway! Really friendly greenkeeper and well maintained site. You can also use the social club bar which is on site.
